I just turned 29 in March, so I've averaged about 1 car/year since I've had my license. My favorite car was my 93 MR2, followed very closely by the Turbo S Beetle, but I think the MINI has potential to surpass it. If I didn't live in Wisconsin, I would have probably kept the MR2, but I feel like the MINI is just as much fun to drive; although a different kind of fun.

 

I bet you love the gas savings! Just wondering, looking at your list of cars, I notice that you always bought American until the MINI. Did your friends give you grief for that? Just curious, since a lot of my friends are the "truck loving", has to be "Made in America" types, and always give me grief for buying non-American. Just curious...

Most of my car friends own DSMs (Eagle Talon/Mitsubishi Eclipse), so It would actually been the reverse- I would never live it down if I bought a Mustang. I used to be a strict "buy american" type. That is until I grew up and realized the good stuff comes from Germany
