Too many to list,but have a story................

My grandfather gave me his 1959 Datsun pickup.It was one of the first to be sold on the west coast.It was non running with the original 1000cc 37HP motor that was seized.
He made a dual brake set up like on VW's and also a lift kit with oak spring block spacers!

I replaced the engine with a 74 Datsun B210 motor and 4 speed tranny.
I drove it for about 3 years then traded it for a new '82 Datsun pick up.The dealer gave me $750 and said they were going to restore it.

12 years later my wife and I were driving on vacation thru a town that was about 150 miles away from where the old Datsun dealer was.
As I was driving by a car lot,she yelled "isnt that your old truck".I saw a glimpse of it and said yes.So I did a u turn and back to the lot.Sure as ***** there it sat in the same condition as when I traded it in!

So I ended up buying it back.The sales guy would not budge from the $1500 sale price.
I came back and trailered it back home where it sat for another 3 years.
I ended up selling it to some guy in Alabama for $1800.

 

I have been kind of a car fanatic for as long as I can remember. My mom calls me crazy and tells me to grow up, but it seems that no matter what I try to do I always find my way back to toying with them. Unfortunately my mod bug rubbed off on my husband haha.
