GIve us details and photos, my MINI is still new but 100s of thousands miles its going to have to become a weekend car and I like the engineering put into M3s and the fact that M cars in general are fairly stealthy until they're open up

Congrats. I had a 2003 E46 M3 when I got my MINI last November. Needs and wants changed and after almost three years of ownership, I traded it in January for a new A3 to supplement the MCS. I loved pretty much everything about the M3 especially the wonderful sounds its engine makes. Just be careful as you learn the car, M3 and BMW forums are littered with stories of irresponsible owners wrapping their M's around immovable objects. Don't let all that speed get away from you.

Congrats

I've noticed that M3's don't like being passed by MCS's

Enjoy, its a fun car. Good idea to keep an eye on engine health by sending motor oil samples in to Blackstone Laboratories or the like for regular reports.

gorgeous! this is pretty much the exact car I almost bought in 03. Instead I kept my s2000 to avoid higher payments... consider me jealous!

on a side note... did anyone see the NEW 3 series coupe that's coming. man when they start making an M3 version of that I sure hope I'm in a position to get it... wowza!
