Hey, just got my production number, and the dealer says I'm scheduled for early July build, August delivery!

I'm excited. I should have the car WAY before the F1 race in Indy, which was my hope all along!

I'm liquid yellow/black with premium, stripes, and the black grills from the aero kit. Also got the anthracite interior trim.

Thinking about 16" R90s, too.

 

yea i got antracite too.. im going all stealth =D

Maybe. I was expecting to be in the August club but after I filled out all the paperwork, she says they might just have a couple June build slots left and, if so, my Liquid Yellow Cooper will be here in JULY!!!!!! I was grinning from ear to ear!. Should find out tomorrow.

Just found out. I made the June build!!!!! My Cooper should be done in July!!

they said mine is gonna be build in july and get here august... i hate waiting =*( lol o wellll i guess ill survive

 

So how many times do you guys think "Maybe I should change the color?" I've ordered LY/B, but it seems one day I'm thinking IB/W, the next R/W, and the next BRG/W, then I'm back to LY/B again.

This is the hardest part, really.

I haven't changed the color, which has been Indi Blue w/white top all along. What I have changed were the other options... Do I get the HK? or sunroof? Premium pkg? No Sport pkg, I didn't want the 17" tires. I had a '98 Z3 2.8 and the tires are WAY to expensive to replace and have a more harsh ride. I think I changed options 8 or 9 times since I originally placed the order the middle of April.

 

I'm in the same boat, on a couple of levels. I had a 2000 Z3 2.3. It was yellow, too, which is one of the reasons I want a yellow MINI. Liquid Yellow isn't quite like the Dakar Yellow on my Z3, though.

I'm also going for the 16's, for ride comfort, tire cost, and most importantly, performance. The 17's are just too heavy.


Indi Blue with white top, stripes and wheels is really my second choice. It always looks great in pictures, but when I've gone to the dealer, it didn't look so good in person. I'm not sure why, really.

I REALLY want the premium package, for the cruise and sunroof mostly, but also the OBC is always fun. Xenons, 17" tires, DSC, and foglamps I can do without, so no sport package.

So I'm set on the options, just not the color combination. Also, I like the black grills with liquid yellow, but I like the driving lamps with indi blue.

 

Add one more to the August list.

The Owner's Lounge says my likely Production date is 7/11. Very excited.

I am going for all Dark Silver (matching roof), will eventually get the mirror caps painted to match and then do a shadow stripe across the length of the car (bonnet to roof to boot).

Options include all three packages, sunroof and Harmon/Kardon (gotta have my tunes!).

Now if I could only sell that pesky Saab!!

 

By the way, my second color choice was Chili Red with White top and stripes.

I went back and forth for a long time, as I have seen some killer versions of both color combos, but ultimately had to go with the Dark Silver. Hopefully I won't have second thoughts when I get it.

 

i have always been set on all black s... i wanted a black car ever since i started to drive. and i picked the premium package with DSC andthe nav system... cant wait to motor in that thing!!!

 

Add me to the list! Week 29 (July 14) build and August delivery date for MCS PS/PS, Sport & Premium Pkg, Xenon, HK Sound, Lapis Blue Leather, Sunroof, 17" Wheels. Unfortunately I am currently living in Sicily so am unable to use the Miniusa site for tracking the progress (have production number). Reading all the posts, I feel fortunate to order end of May and already have a build slot. Can't wait!!!

 

My build date is 7/25. Not sure why it came up so late. The order went in on June 10th. With any luck, I'll make August.

 

How many others are already ordering after market parts in anticipation of your car's arrival? I myself have ordered the madness/rogues intake, dashboard cover, center console caddy, and bra for the front when the bugs get really bad. Problem is that some of the parts are already here and I am finding harder to just wait on the car. Hmmmm, may just have to go shopping for more parts to ease the pain of waiting

 

i wanna buy an exaust n stuff for it but right now i think im just gonna buy the rims tint and see what i can buy after that

My dealer is playing in the aftermarket performance game so I'm getting a little package of go fast goodies from them. My aftermarket toy will be my roof(s?) and bonnet stripes.

My order is in so I don't have to worry about wanting to tinker with it any longer.

What I really need to figure out and I guess I need to go over there and play around is figure out how I can wire up my Delphi satellite radio to it. The new aux plug is nice but I have tons of questions about running the antenna... Any ideas?

 

My production date has moved up from July 25th to July 18th after a few days. Have any of you noticed changes in your production dates? I know these are estimates and I figured that they are in constant flux. Hopefully, it will bounce up another week or two and I'll be early August and not late August.

How did you find out? My Owner's lounge still says "On Order."

Maybe I'll ask my dealer, I'm calling today to change to BRG/White. I hadn't seen BRG in person until this weekend, and I love it! Of course, I think I'll have to change my screen name, eh?
