#1
If you've being reading previous threads about the steptronic paddles and the pictures... you'll know way I'm about to talk about ..
Remember when this one dude posted a picture of the Steptronic paddle on the MINI COOPER ... and somehow there was a high degree of critism claiming that the photo was just a " BAD PHOTOSHOP JOB " ... well .. today .. I paid a visit to MINI OF MARKHAM .. there was a MC with CVT .. and it had the PADDLE SHIFT buttons like the one in the picture from previous posting ... the picture is really ... OH GOD >! ! ! ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ! ! ! !

There's too much compression to do a good armchair guess about the validity of the pic (i had it cranked up to 500x zoom and i started seeing some major compression artifacts), but the extra square shadow on the left 'paddle' strikes me as odd... but the 'paddles' don't seem like mirror images of each other, but then again, there's the nasty compression which can hide a lot of things... either way they look more like Steptronic Plungers than Paddles... let's hope this is no-where near a final design..
