Will it still start the car? If so, at least the transponder portion of it still works.

Does your other key's remote still work? If so, the problem is with your key, and not the receiver in the car.

There's a battery in the keyfob, so it's possible that it's failed. Is this the same key you've always used? How much time had passed between the last time the remote worked and the first time you noticed it didn't work?

I can still start the car with the same key(remote doesnt work). I dont have other key right now so I wasnt able to check.. And I ve always used this key since I bought the car..
Actually last time, I locked the car and somehow I was holding the unlock button for about 5 seconds.. I think then the remote strated not working..

Try this thread for directions on how to re-program your key. Two important things to note:

1) If you don't have both keys with you when you perform the steps, the remote for the other key will no longer work until you repeat the programming steps with *both* keys in the car.

2) If your car is a 2004 or older, there's a battery in it that you might want to try replacing first. (in the remote, not the car)
