WOW - I LOVE these brakes!

as title stated, The mini brakes on my 02 MCS are sweet. I had to slam on the brake today for an idiot that pulled out in front of me and this car stopped on a dime. Is there anything i need to do to the mini after a situation like that where I have to slam on the brakes? Besides giving it a big hug for saving me?

Just let up on them when safe and hopefully let them cool abit. OEM brakes are pretty good minus the brake dust. Glad they got you stoped in time

Yeah, you need to do a big smoky burnout. To balance out the karmic forces...or....something...

You could have possibly flat spotted the tires a little so yeah sure a good smokey burnout will even them out again (how's that for a good reason!)

Stock brakes are great for the street, but after repeated stops on a track they fade badly. Get a Big Brake Kit and you can stop on dimes all day long. But you better get out and pick them up because you are spending at least that much in brake dust with every stop.

But with ABS isnt that sort of a non issue? And even then they still probably arent flat spotted bad enough to require it.

However if you feel like doing a burnot just for fun by all means go ahead. As a matter of fact i encourage it.
