Coolant?
If it truly is low, then you should be able to just add water into the reservoir bottle. However, when the engine is hot, the bottle might overflow. If your engine was warm when they serviced your car, it would have been difficult to know for sure if the coolant was low.
They might have just checked the coolant to see if it met the temperature ratings it needed to be and if the levels looked reasonable, they probably would not have added more coolant. You could probably bring it back and they could put coolant in, but a little bit of clean water won't hurt the engine and save you the time and trouble of going back to the dealer.
