Woke up to find that both the rear and front passenger side windows had been broken out by some crackhead who wanted my cell phone charger. It took me about an hour to get the glass out just so that it was drivable, and now I have to wait four days for replacement glass and have to duct tape both windows. Maybe I can get a night watch group together to fight back.

I am sick and tired of the ghetto folk stealing and robbing from the hood of good hard working people. I'm going to see if the police will step up night patrols there. Thanks for listening to my rant. ;o)

Bummer man. I never leave anything visible in the car when I'm parked on a city street. I know someone who got broken into for their dirty laundry. I love city life but you really gotta be wary.

I'm sure you have good reason to expect that the vandal was a "ghetto folk" crackhead... but most of the time when I personally see these things happen, they've been done by bored, stupid, suburban kids looking for cheap thrills.

Not to give crackheads a break or anything... Either way, sorry for your pain. Vandalism stinks no matter who does it.

 

Aw, man, I'm so sorry. You know it's sad when people do stuff like that to cars with glass windows, but still haven't figured out that they can just unzip the ones in my ragtop, reach in, and unlock the car (not that I want that to happen, unless I can get my car as an insurance write-off). Some people are naturally dumb.

Thanks for the sympathy folks. It's nice to hear your support. I should have some new windows by Thursday, but it amazes me that out of three different MINI dealers I could visit, none had any glass in stock! Gook luck to everyone!

 

Sorry to hear about that, I feel for you.
Look on the bright side it can always be worse, I had some jerk break my window to get into my company car (not a mini thank god), the idiot must of used his hand because there was blood all over the inside of my car.

 

I wish the guy who broke into my car had gotten stuck in my broken window like that poor dead dude who got stuck in that windshield. Except I would have sought medical attention for him, after I doused him with antiseptic and alcohol!!!

A rabbit's foot, a chicken's foot, a cross, and an evil eye should keep the crackheads away from my car!
