When you go to MCO's home page, we've been seeing the pic of that same car autocrossing for the past couple weeks (its a good one, don't get me wrong).

Here's my idea - have a featured MINI of the week. Beneath the pic have a link to more pics, a little bio, and some of their comments about their MINI, etc.

On top of that, you could retain a history of the Featured MINI's - something people could link back to for all of the...what does a <this or that> look like on <this color or trim> MINI <Cooper or S>??? questions

I'm sure tons of people will send in stuff. I'm sure several people will voluneteer to be editors, to sort it all out, pic the cars, layout the content, etc.

Anyone else think it would be a good idea?

Great idea. you can even use the galleries as a resource for the time being. 'til more pics are sent.

 

And then you can have a gallery of the past MINIs of the day, with bios and such.

 

Yea, good idea! Over on the Miata.net site they do a Miata of the month that shows a couple of pics of a car and tells the car/owners story.

This is a wonderful idea! Good thinking. I say to make things fair, we should have a Cooper of the week and an MCS of the week. After your car is featured, then you should be part of the team that chooses the next winner. I'd say we'd need a panel of at least 5 members to be on the permanent commitee and then the week's 2 featured owners would be able to vote in the next week's decision. How does that sound?

 

Great Idea !! The Miata.net site has the "Miata of the Month" with owner profile and a list of the car's mods!! A month may be a long time but maybe change every two weeks ????
