Brake Upgrade and Help...

So last weekend I put on TPM slotted/drilled rotors and Hawk HPS pads on the car. Tonight I put on new SS brake lines and ATE Superblue fluid and used a powerbleeder to flush the fluid. But brakes still feel squishy esp. just doing short test drives around the neighborhood. These Hawk pads seem to like to be a bit warm before they really bite. But I had hoped getting the SS lines would have helped. I used the power bleeder twice and didnt see any bubbles or leaks on the new lines.

Any advice?

Did you bed the brakes in? With new pads and new rotors you need to break them in. Bedding will give you the best surface so the brakes will work at their best.

Where did you purchase your rotors and pads? Did you have to replace the sensors too? My MINI has 57,000 miles on it and I heard from the guy who sold it to me that the dealer said I need to replace (at least) the front rotors and pads. Are you happy with yours now that you broke in the brakes?
