Weatherstrip removal/replacement

Has any one ever replaced their weatherstrip? Does any one know how to remove the outer weatherstrip on the doors?

Part 8 in the diagram here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/diagrams/t/h/218.png

Thanks.

From: Washington. No, the other one.

No hotlinking to realoem allowed.
As for the trim piece, it should pry right off. Don't scratch the paint. Use a plastic tool, or a flat screwdriver with masking tape on the tip.

Wow, I thought you'd pull from the front or back of the piece, not the sides. So I just slip something non-abrasive under the side and it pops off?
