Here in UK< it was a minimum of 6k and at 3.25%, I thought it was fantastic, not zero percent like some others but on a car that is such highly demanded not bad.

They're pretty good at automatically taking the money from my account each month. ;-)

We have used them for both of our MINI's with no problems at all and the rates were very competitive with any other offers we had.

I was out of work for 3 mos. I still have my car because of the customer service I recieved from MINI Finance. Unless you can get a super deal from the bank I would go with them.

Probably there are other banks and credit unions with slightly better interest rates. However, they probably don't have the level of customer care exhibited by MINI Financial Services. To me there is a huge advantage to have the ability to finance my purchase with the folks that built my car.

I also have the MINI Visa Platinum credit card with them. One of the best credit cards I have had. When I purchased the Clubman, I obtained a $500 rebate from them (I had already 50,000 points accrued). Within a week of buying the car, I already had a $500 rebate check waiting for me in the mail.

The thing to keep in mind with MFS is that you have to have very good credit. They are very picky as to whom they extend credit (And this is true of most financial institutions given the credit situation today due to the housing bubble burst).

my experience with MFS has been outstanding, both on the car finance and credit card end. as far as the car finance goes, they were very competitive and even better for rates than my local credit unions or State Farm. no regrets whatsoever.
