I have owned my car for nearly 3 weeks and have been breaking her in ever since. I've come very close to the recommended break in mileage of 1,250 miles. The break in period was also my opportunity to learn how to drive manual, which I've become quite good at. Throughout this whole break in period, I just think about how wonderful it would be to take advantage of all the power once she is broken in. What fun it would be I say to myself. But then I got to thinking. Why don't I take her to My limits through the corners. That's exactly what I did. She's so much fun driving fast into corners, screaching with a poop load of grip, and exiting with a little bit of oversteer to put the icing on the cake. It was a blast to finally be able to drive her hard. I am still looking forward to taking advantage of all her power, but that will take a back seat to being able to drive fast through corners, the way she was intended to be driven....

 

Yah, my idea is to get in on any drives going on asap, as they will all most likely be driving slower than I would alone.

 

Hahaha I have used every last bit of power and handling the MINI has got! trying to keep up with M5s and Porsche GT3s!! I got compliments like WOW that MINI HULLS!!! hehehe so yup MINIs gotten a lot of respect...
