Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone else went with the Invisishield bra for their MINI? If so, how do you like it, can you replace it, is it durable, does it work???
I'm really just wondering if it is worth the money.

Thanks

I would also like the know the answers to these questions. What about prices? Which products are best? Safe over stripes? Easy to clean/wax/care for?

my feelings on those products are....

if you are going to wrap the front 1/5th of your car... wrap the whole thing.
after time there will be noticable differances..

the Mini paint is SOOOOOO Soft...
out here in SoCal, when the temps get to be 100+ and even more ON your car's Surface...
I could almost push my thumbnail INTO the paint and peel it off... I have not done this of course and am not sure if I could actually do that, but the paint is softer than any other factory paint I've seen...

If I had the $$$ I would repaint this thing properly.

I live in So Cal I have the clear bra it hasnt melted... at least not yet... i dont have Invisishield but X-Pel but basically the same thing.. made by 3M and all. and i have to say i REALLY Like it. its not very noticable and it gives good protection. It is replaceable... but of course its going to cost you. heres a good example... one time my dad was driving on the freeway on the 710 south, he ran into a MASSIVE amount of rocks and debries on the freeway... by the time he heard it it was too late he said it was LOUD... and like 5 to 7 rocks just bounced up and was hitting the car all over the place he was like ***** this is going to be BAD... and it really would have been if the clear bra wasnt there... when he came home we examined the car and surely the clear bra took many hits... like 5 hits where it left like shattered rocks u know how it hit so hard it like turned into dust... we were able to wipe it off the bra. and it left black spots on the bra. but it washed off with soap and water... thank goodness. I mean if the bra wasnt there there would have been plenty of paint chips... Oh ya... i forgot to mention... one of the rocks chipped the windshield... didnt replace it just filled it up i didnt want to replace it and have to have the dealer take apart my car. at least not yet.

here are some pics of the clear bra.

they are the pics in the middle where i'm like taking close up pics of the car... its after the pic wiht my dads BMW and before the pics of the bonnet stripes.
