I am fortunate to have three dealers here on Long Island. Would anyone care to comment/express their opinions on which dealer I should purchase my Mini from?
Hassel Mini, Habberstads Mini, or Mini in the Hamptons. I have been to Hassel and Habberstads and had good experiences at both, however, Habberstad's salesman was better and their road test was long and wonderful as opposed to a quick trip around the block at Hassel. Thank you in advance for your replys and opinions.

Have you read through the dealer reviews in the Dealer Rating System section? People can post reviews of the various dealerships in there and what their experiences were like. I can't help with LI dealers since I live in NJ, but I did find some interesting comments in there about the 2 dealers I was considering dealing with.

Good luck!

Yes I have read the dealer ratings and I was hoping for some new replies of a moderate nature not over the top positive or through the floor negative. stories and anecdotes and general stuff was what I was hoping for. How was your dealer? Thanks for your reply

Honestly I wasn't totally thrilled with my dealer but they happen to have the exact car I want sitting on their lot so I'm dealing with it (not to mention they are 10 minutes from my house). I've heard people saying their dealers worked with them to lower their finance rate to meet or beat outside sources. This place wouldn't budge from 6%. That's fine. I'll finance someplace else. Would have been nice to avoid the hassle of a trip to my credit union though. Suffice to say, if I had to order a car, I would have gone to the other dealer.

By the way, I don't have the car yet. Have to commit to a deposit on it by Thursday and hope that I can sell my old car in time.
