I have asked many, many ownwes about how their mini"s perform in snow and have received only one answer - "You may want to get bigger tires for snow."

Can any one give me a more detailed answer to what to expect? It will be sometime before it snows and I want a mini now! Should I get one and if so, should I just ride the bus when the white stuff falls?

I took delivery of my MCS in the middle of April, so I only had one snow to contend with. I have the 17” Pirelli performance tires, not the all-season, but the MCS did very well on unplowed snow covered roads. I would suspect that with the all season tires it would do great. The seamless power delivery of the MCS and front wheel drive are good matches for slippery conditions.
