R50/53 Anyone running staggered rims on their MINI?

i am only running 7" all around, but youll see a few on here running 9" in the rear!
but the trade off is the tire has to be stretched in order to not hit anything and the rim ends up sticking out further then the tire.
the disadvantage to running staggered sizes is you loose the ability to rotate. if you have a performance tire, then you could end up burning through it in as little as 8K since you cant rotate it.
i myself do like the slightly staggered look too.

wow, 9" would be out beyond the OEM rear fender. I was thinking like an inch wider.
I have seen some .5" t0 .75" wheel spacers, but that design seems to place most of the vehicles weight on the 4 lugs - instead of the lip on the hub ? Am I correct with that assumption ?

myself, i would not run them, I would get a wider rim, the.5-.75 your looking to get. then have it made with proper offset and backspacing.
