After you wash and dry your car, on the back where the window seals(actualy below where the seal is attached to the boot, just above the Mini Bage) there seems
to be water that keeps comming out, its like water gets under the seal and every
time you run a towel over it you get more water.... no leaking inside? strange, but
it takes a while for the water to keep from seeping out from the seal?
Just wondering if its my MCS?

Well, if you have an air compressor you can blow all that out.

yea I replaced the upper grill a while ago, I like it, got to do the small lower part
next, but just waiting for mom to let me have time to do it. I got a place that
may chrome my scoop for me? the only one I saw for sale was alot of $$$ this
guy is doing it for 150 with a 5 year warrenty. We will see how that looks in a few
weeks. I still have lots to do, I just wish the UCC was not so $$$ but the gain are
real impressive.

And thanks for the comments on the new sig. I am still working, im a Backend
programmer in C# so Graphics is something I let the other dept. handle, they
are trying to get me to use the tools, but like anything else "Old Dog - New Tricks"

I highly recommend an electric leaf blower for drying a MINI. There are many places that hold water, and the leaf blower makes quick work of drying with no scratches remotely possible from nothing but air touching the finish of your paint.

That said, I do spot finish the car with a microfiber towel. Give the electric leaf blower a try. It's great.

See ya,
JS

Nope I am thinking about it....

I am also thinking about having it painted silver, the Dark silver of a MCS and
using that. not sure what Im going to do, but sometime in the next few
weeks I am putting the lower grill on, yes its a bit un-nerving, but not many
MCS around and so most dont notice.

What do you think, paint dark silver/ or another color or Chrome it?

btw guys thanks for the blower advice, I'll try it next time I wash.

Yea, but its hard to see the scoop, it blends, I wanted something that made it
noticed a bit, I liked the CF it was nice, sold it to a MCS guy here in Atlanta
because I was looking to chrome/paint one. I could just leave it primed, I have
been driving around for a week and my son just noticed, he said it looks pretty
cool, it blends and is not over bearing, I dont know .... I just stay confused....
The next thing is my UCC, then I should be at a basic stage 1. Intake/Pulley/ECU/exhaust/springs/swaybar.... that should set me up to start
learning how to autocross...
