R50/53 accessing windshield washer fluid reservoir?

accessing windshield washer fluid reservoir?

How can I access the windshield washer fluid reservoir? I ran out of fluid yesterday and when i filled it up it all ran out the bottom of my car.

Remove all the plastic clips and pull out the black plastic front fender lining. Then remove the plastic side marker/indicator light grille from the A panel and you will see a bolt holding the reservoir in position at the top. 2 more fasteners hold it lower down to the inner wheel arch/fender?.
Hope this makes sense with my UK English !

The pump motor probably came loose from the tank. Same problem I had. Easy fix. Just used some dielectric grease around the rubber gasket to make sure it sealed well. 4 years later, still working fine.

did you have to take everything apart to get to the hose from the pump?
