Auto Trans With 2.0 Engine?
I was woundering if my Mini Cooper S 06 automatic transmission would handle RMW's stroker 2.0. Some words on the road here say that the Mini's transmission is the worste, so they think I would have my tranny rebuilt few weeks after doing the engine swap. What do you think guys?

Totally sure.
I have a friend whos got just the header/cam combo that says the car just slides from one gear to the next no real shifting happening
But to be positive Contact RMW and ask what kind of options there are such as putting a 6spd in your car or working out the bugs in the trans.

The MCS 6 speed tiptronic is NOT CVT.....
I have the auto with 15%, RMW cam, RMW header, JanTune. Haven't re-dyno'd since adding cam and header... but probably making 200+whp and 180ish tq now... no problems yet... but that's WAY less torque than you'd get from the stroker...
The Aisin TF-60SN tranny is rated for up to 236 ft/lbs of torque at the crank...the stroker will exceed that... by a fair margin...

17% pulley
JCW injectors
JCW intake
JCW sparkplugs
and the cam and header are on the way...

Here's my dyno sheet (before the cam and header, which made a TON of butt dyno difference) - sorry for the melted ink...
FWIW, performance mods then included:
15% pulley
JCW injectors
One-ball exhaust
JCW intake w/AMSoil Nanofilter
Alta intake tube (like that does anything haha)
NGK/JCW plugs
RMW Tune
Cars with similar mods and manual tranny were breaking 200whp that same day.
I'm of the opinion that the autos need about one additional power mod to keep up with the manuals... in my case, with a heavy convertible and a fat driver, I need two...

Yep... it answers the age-old question:
"What happens when the dyno printer uses water soluble ink, and your dyno sheet gets wet on the way home, and your tuner fails to save your dyno plot so you can get a reprint?"
Because I know you've asked yourself that many, many, many times.
