I love my 2005 pepper white MCS!!!
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to express my new found love for my car. I've had it for about 2 years now, and while I've always had an appreciation for it, just recently I really fell in love with the car.
My dad bought it new, and then so graciously sold it to me when I moved from NYC to LA. I know he was sad to part with it. He's very giving, and sold it to to me for MUCH cheaper than what it was worth.
I just recently got curious about getting a new Mini. Mine is almost out of warranty, and I thought the new ones were much more improved. After doing a little research, talking with Danny from Minicorsa, and test driving, I decided that the new mini's aren't all that great. They feel cheap to me. So I shed that idea.
Instead, I bought new wheels and tires for my car, and put a bunch of time into finding and eradicating some rattles and vibrations that were driving me crazy in mine. After taking it up into the hollywood hills for some twisties today, I can say I've never been a more proud Mini owner.
I've gotten alot of help from the community here, so thanks so much to all of you.
Here's a pic of mine from the other day, up in the santa monica mountains, just a couple hours after getting my new OZ Ulteraleggera's and General tires put on. Driving on these is pure bliss compared to the stock wheels with RF's!
My next mission is for lowered springs and a rear anti sway bar! I'd love to also put a subtle body kit on too, but that's alot of $$$!
Thanks again all!
