I haven't taken a look at the site but in my opinion you should stay away from 'em. Wipers are such a minor part of the car and way too functional or utilitarian to bring attention to. Who notices wipers? When they and the arms are black they just blend in with the glass and the reflections. Dress up other aspects of you car but not the wipers. A more stylish look would be to play off any other "minor" color as an accent. Use black or introduce a second color to work with.

Check out the "stripes" section of the Photo Gallery at http://www.cooperflags.com and you'll see a very tastefully done PW/PW MC with red bonnet stripes.

Hope I haven't offended you, I just wanted to offer my opinion. Because these cars lend themselves so well to personalization it can be easy to over think things and go overboard. The MINI is a classy car that shouldn't be taken as far as those ricer cars are.

That's my two cents worth anyway.

Here! Here! KerMini!! I agree completely. MINIs are already eye-poppers as is, to make them bling-bling just goes too far. A few subtle touches here and there work rather nicely...

Well,

I am usually decidedly against bling-bling, but I kinda dig the colored wiper bit. True, it's ricey, blah blah blah, but if I could be sure that the blue complemented my EB/W S, I might be tempted.

Of course, $22 a piece is a little stiff...

$22?!?! what a rip off!!

anyway, seems just a wee bit too rice-a-roni for me! BESIDES... a PURE white windshield wiper next to your PEPPER white MINI?? CLASH-O-RAMA. Maybe if it were something a little farther away from the body (like, antenna or wheels) it would be less noticeable. But that close to the bonnet you'll be able to tell they are different shades of white!!

hey, I think it's a great idea. Don't worry about stereotypes or whether someone else might think it's "Ricey" go your own way, be yourself, have fun. They are only wiperblades, not a lifelong committment...

...although redleg13 they are "lifetime" wipers! I have the carbon fibre ones...they last several years even under extreme temperatures.. They are very good wipers. I'd just get the normal ones...

c'mon, let's get real here.. yes, the wipers cost $22 and they say they last a lifetime.. but who says you have to keep them that long... you spend $22 on a decent bottle of wine, what am I missing here????

Well, I think it's all relative. When you can get perfectly good wipers for a few dollars at autozone, $22 seems a bit high.

I sitll might spend it though, just like I will spend the $35 for the freakin' MINIFINI cupholder and WHO KNOWS what for the MINIFINI armrest...
