Yeah, I'm obsessed, too. Hours spent at the car wash are not "bonding time." Duster comes out whenever I see dust...sometimes 3-4 times a day. (...especially the boot.) Wheels...clean 'em every two days except on the weekend. Then its 2 times a day. (...more bonding time) That's all not counting motoring which simply the best!!!!!!!

Yes the dust on the boot is especially bad. Not sure why that is, but the rear wiper acts as a sort of "shelf" for collecting dust. When I extend it away from the glass, dust always falls down to my bumper!
re: Wheels
Exactly! I cleaned my wheels, then drove through the mountains, and I drove Lil'Octane very hard, and 3 hours later, the white wheels were covered in brake dust again!
Today, my parents invited me to lunch to celebrate my birthday. While I really enjoyed the lunch, it was a bummer not getting to drive Lil'Octane! We took their Mercedes instead. No I'm not complaining! I just had to realize I can't take Lil'Octane everywhere with me.

>>Yes,

>>The dreaded Money Order and shipping address of the office. CoopDawg, you've got it BAD. Still, the Whalen Shift Machine is probably worth the effort to conceal your tracks. Once you become very proficient at it, your marriage will last a long time.

There is a name for this: UUC as in:

Club
As the name suggests, the idea was that you would quietly upgrade those things that could not be seen. If you upgraded the springs and shocks and the wife commented on the rough ride you would say something like "I've noticed that recently myself. Next time I take it to the dealer, I'll mention it."
