First time Mini owner with a question...

Bought a 2004 R53 (Dark Silver, woot woot!). Might be a dead horse to ask, but has anyone swapped out their bumpers with a newer oem bumper? Not sure if it's out yet, but anyone thought about swapping their bumper for the new JCW kit???

I used to have a 94 Integra with 01-spec bumpers that I switched out for that updated feel. Wondering if the same concept can be applied for the MCS.

No R56 won't work but you can use a 02-06 Aero Kit, but not the rear aero bumper off a a cabrio

 

What would I run into ... bolt alignment issues, are just overall measurements of the bodywork?

 

the integra didn't change chassis from 94-01. r53 and r56 are two for the most part different platforms.

Yes you can get it to work, anything is possible if you pay a professional body man enough money to modify it but no, it will not bolt on.

Go for the aero kit if you want a different look
