Welcome Scanner!!! If you haven't placed your Mini order yet, remember this: the fastest color is Dark Silver. The tech's haven't figured out why quite yet, but EVERYONE knows that it's true.

God speed.

I see Cooper's Beagle got ahold of the keyboard again.

Seriously, welcome. This site is a really nice added benefit to having a Mini of any color and there's just not a bad color (I am a minority who even likes solid gold). Now also join the elite subgroup who also have beagles. They look really cool in the backseat and definitely like crusing in their Minis.

It's good to see so many newbies announcing themselves on the MCO lately.

Welcome aboard Scanner! I hope your wait is short.

BTW, who did you order from?

I too am a newbie...just picked up my MCS about a week ago. But from what I can tell (aside from how helpful this site is), only British RACING Green has anything in the color's name that clearly distinguishes it as a "racing" choice. It's gotta be hard to argue with this theory, no?

Oooohhh, Miniature...that IS hard logic to argue. I think you've settled the debate...at least this time.

Welcome Scanner..

I'm new here as well and waiting for a November arrival of a "faster" Dark Silver MCS.

CooperBeagle is right the techs will never figure it out because it is magic...

Welcome to MCO scanner.

While there is some great info on this site, obviously some folks are seriously misinformed about the fastest color:

of course it's EB, in particular when combined with white roof and wheels,
and even more so when white flames are added:
