I've been running Zimmerman slotted rotors in the rear for about 25k miles with Hawk Ceramic pads on about 75% of the time and Hawk HP+ for the remainder. The zinc coating wore off and there is some visible rust on the rotor edges, but nothing to complain about.

I don't recall the exact details, but they've probably been through 3 track days, 15 autox's, and a lot of hard driving with extreme heat cycling and are holding up fine with no visible large cracks or fractures.

I usually don't cheap skate when it comes to taking care of my Mini, but after several local car buddies all purchased upgrade rotors off Ebay with great results, I had to follow.

I believe I paid $200 shipped for a pair of slotted front Brembo rotors and a pair of slotted rear Zimmerman rotors. For that price, I wouldn't even feel bad buying a new set every year to keep everything looking fresh and clean.

I highly recommend.

Popular choice in BMW circles, good reputation, but I have not tried.
Might want to try posting in "Tires, Wheels and Brakes" section for more response.

these guys have a lifetime warranty, that seems pretty legit to me, they have slotted, cross drilled and slotted, and dimpled and slotted. For front and rear its like 220 or somn like that. Just a thought, probably what i am going to do.
