AWESOME! Congrats!
That gives this MINI owner a warm fuzzy feeling.

At the rate I drive mine, it'll take me another 42 years to achieve 200,000 miles... fingers crossed.

also, curious to see the "repair/upgrade list."

-valve cover gasket
-oil pan gasket
-drivers door lock actuator (passenger is out now, need to replace)

Nice! My girlfriend's '05 is at 134k. It's in the shop now because it thinks it's being stolen, and come to find out, it's all due to the p/s pump. Long story.
With the way she drives the thing, it won't be too long before it sees 200k (on the flipside, my '86 Silverado just turned over the 100k mark).
And to think, it wasn't that long ago I told her to take a pic of it at 123456. 10k goes by fast.

Awesome. I'm surprised that you only went through 2 sets of brakes but then again if I calculated right...you do about ~90 miles a day which I'm guessing is highway so it makes sense. All the other major repairs and replacements is a good guideline for us. Thanks!

The 1st set of front pads/rotors on my Mini was replaced at 26k (Southern Cal commute). There's not a lot of traffic in Bishop, Ca. Unless Nik tracks his Mini or drive like a fugitive on the run, brake pads/rotors and clutch shouldn't wear out to fast.

Nik - how did you replace the supercharger for only $500. If it's illegal, you don't have to say. hehe...

200k... there's hope for my Mini.

LOL - totally legal, bought it on ebay for 300, and the remaining 200 was water pump, gaskets, and misc.

No - not alot of traffic here, basically few stop signs/ lights on each direction of the commute, then 6th gear for an hour! Not a lot of daily abuse, still have fun on the weekends, but never tracked.

Yes original clutch...

Nik

"fete" is "feast" in French. Let us know where party will be and I'll bring cheap booze.
