Some of you might remember this bit. Back in March I realized I'd need something a little bigger to haul me (6'5"), the wife (5'9") and two kids - both small now but big enough to make it uncomfortable when the car is full. So I went out and got a 'huge' old MazdaSpeed3.

The plan was to sell the MINI since we could always use some extra cash. But I keep 'finding' money - taxes were better than expected, bonus money at work, that kinda stuff. So, I still have the MINI.

After a couple of months of not driving it, I've taken to driving it quite a bit lately. I've missed my little German/English love. At the same time, my Japanese mistress is so sweet and so hot, I can't give her up either.

Gov. Sanford got into trouble but I might be able to convince my wife to let this go on a bit longer.

Long live the MINI.

 

you will kick yourself if you let the MINI go. there are Mercedes,Mazdas, Porsches, and then there is the MINI all other cars are only transportation. MINI's are motoring!

 

I'm glad you still have it. Honestly, I love driving our Mazdaspeed 3, but the MINI is where my heart lies. I went through the pick-up window at a local Culver's last night in my MINI with the top down and the girl working the window said "I love your car! It makes me happy!" and then she turned to the other girl working there and said "I love that car". I just don't get that reaction driving the Mazda. My SO loves the Mazda (and it's power), so we're both happy.
