Maintenance warranty about to be over...

Hi Coopers,

I have 34K on my 2006 MCS, 2K left until the maintenance warranty is over. My front brake pads are pretty thin (2mm thick), but the brake indicator light hasn't come on yet and the brakes are not squeaking. The last time I took my car in for a oil service, my brakes were squeaking. However, the service adviser said you have about half to go, and just bring it in when the brake lights come on.

Should I try to complain again about my brakes being squeaky so he will say okay this time seeing the brake pads so thin?

Do you guys try to do everything you can before the mainenance is over?

Thanks,

Chris

Minimum spec on R56s is 3mm, I'd have thought it'd be the same for R53s.
