R50/53 Gremlins? (No, not AMC Gremlins)

Is it a full moon? Mr. Teeny has been acting very strangely the past couple of days...yesterday morning, this morning, and this afternoon, he stalled at start-up (outside temp of 45, 47, and 42 degrees Farenheit, respectively), but then started just fine after each stall (he has CVT, if that makes a difference)...and this evening, the headlights decided to take a short break...is anyone else having any of these issues? Or does my car just hate me?

Just took our '02 Cooper CVT to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia last week and had a blast of a time in the car, no problems at all. Put 2,800 miles in one week (Miami to Williamsburg and back). The car now has 17,600+ miles on it.
The car operated flawlessly in ambient temperatures ranging from 32F to 90F. No stalls, no stumbles, no bogging, no hesitation, no lurches.
The car has software version 32.2 installed 6 months ago.
The Steptronic was extremely fun in the Blue Ridge Parkway..the car loves the mountains!.
Take your car back to the dealer. Headlights acting up and cold start problems does not seem normal behavior to me.
Best of luck.
