Well, I've got the every once in a while click in my steering wheel but not enough to annoy me yet. I did have something weird happen this a.m. Pulling out of my garage....tight turns into an alley caused weird noise when I had to turn the steering wheel all the way. Then, driving to work, my steering does not have the nice tight feel I had yesterday. Any ideas why or similar experiences???

No, but I'd say you had better get to a dealer asap!

The steering isn't that bad. Sorry if I made it sound that way. It just definitely doesn't feel as tight as yesterday.

I pulled into my driveway, it had power steering. 2 minutes later I pulled out of my driveway, no power steering. Pump went out, just like that. Chances are your pump is fixing to go out. Dealer should already have remanufactured pumps in stock.

Oh, I thought if the steering pump was going bad it would make the steering more difficult not a looser feel???

A new MINI feature! Intermittent Steering

Yeah, definitely get this checked. Have roadside assistance deliver it to the dealer if you feel unsafe driving it like this.
