I'm sure they will be fine. I just got back from sailing in the carribean and we got caught in a Tropical storm with no warning. we got hit with 40 knot winds on our 50ft sailboat while under full sail. Our boat went horizontal until we goat the wind spilled and got the sails back in. I must say 40knt wind with rain hurts. If it wasn't for my adrenaline I surly would have shat my pants.
then we made it to St Barts. saw some mini's there and alot of mini moke's. they also had alot of smart car's which were kind of cool and micro compared to the mini.

Look at this link; there is a four-step process listed near the end of the first page...Tracking your MINI

I live very close to the Chesapeake Bay and see car carriers on their way to Baltimore all the time. Those things are huge and sturdily built....I think your baby and everyone else's will be ok. I'm sure everything's battened down.
BTW, welcome to NAM

>>Well, according to the W&W site, the Jingu Maru has been into port in New York, and sailed on toward Charleston. My car is not listed as discharged yet, but I can only assume that it's just a delay in updating the tracking system.
You can forget the owners lounge for tracking your MINI. Here is a leter in responce to me asking why I was still showing "En Route". My boat docked 11-4.
Hi James, thanks for writing MINI.
Sounds like your baby is going to be with you soon. I apologize, but
the last step we can see in our tracking system is when the car is at
the port of exit in England. If you contact your motoring advisor at
your MINI dealer, he or she will be able to assist you in further tracking
your baby’s progress. If there are further questions that I can assist
you with, please feel free to drop me an e-mail.

I just hope none of the kids,er MINIs, on the ship don't get sea sick with the rough weather! - with a bar on every level, 24 hour food buffets and Discos, those cruise ships are a great place to eat too much and drink too much. Add a storm and you will have some pretty sick MINIs!!! :wink
and JustGo4it! -- you are so correct! You can forget the Owners Lounge unless you want to check it every 2 weeks to see how it's going. My MINI was always about 4-6 days ahead of what the Owners Lounge said. When the Lounge said I was produced, he was being loaded on the ship! when it showed he was waiting transportation and he'd sailed on the Jingu Maru and was 4 days out to sea! It never showed him on the truck to the dealer. One day he was on the ship and then a long pause, with no change and then it showed I'd picked him up.... but funny, that was a week before I did pick him up, because of all my after factory accessories my dealer added.
