knocking or clicking noise on cold startup-normal?
*Hope I am posting in the right area
2005 S, 38,000 miles. When I start it up if it is cold out (only sometimes) it will make about 5 or 6 "knocking" or clicking noises down from what sounds like under the glovebox area, then it stops. It doesn't do this all the time and just sounds like something electronic perhaps? I searched some for some knocking threads on google and found one with a video below (this is NOT the noises that my car is making but thought i'd post it in case someone thought it was). like I said, it only makes about 5 or 6 little clicks then stops.
also I have noticed that while I am driving and have the vent on (set to high or close to it) that the air will quickly lower when i brake then when i let go of the brakes it will go back to speed. and at night the orange lights that illuminate the speedometer and tach dim real quick then go back bright when i let go of the break. this happened to my grandfathers old 96 buick we had and was an electrical issue.
anyone have any ideas?
also here is the vid:
