how to remove pin from clutch pedal/master cylinder...

Replacing both master and slave cylinder and was wondering how to remove the pin theat connects the master cylinder to the pedal.

Looking at the diagram at RealOEM it is the standard BMW clip OR push pin, just lift the locking tab and push over/off the pin OR use needle nose pliers to clamp the tabs and push out:

Thanks - I have the service manual, but it did not show the clip and I was looking at the wrong side of the pedal to see it. I appreciate the help.
