And it starts!
Dispite the rain in Denver today, my tank is half full of E85 with the other half regular 91 crap gas. I just ran my first set of idle logs, and it's a bit lean. Thats to be expected, I havent altered the fuel tables yet. The KNOCK levels are averaging around a 40, so I can bring timing up even at idle.
I will post more as I go along today, I am taking the week OFF of the day job so I have time.

Just made my first series of adjustments. The first ride revealed that I had the global fuel map (controlls the strength of the injector pulse, used to scale the injectors) set pretty close from the adjustments I made in the garage. I was still pretty lean down low, and was a few points off of my target AFR midrange. My timing also needed some small tweaks, the KNOCK levels are down pretty far across the board, so I will be playing with it to see what I can do.
Now its time for another ride, to get some more logs.

Well after the 3rd set of adjustments, all is pretty good again! AFR holds steady at around a 12.3ish but drops to an 11.7ish at 7K rpm, pretty much perfect for alcohol. Yes 12's are lean for pump gas, but with the added protection of the alcohol you can get away with running a little lean as long as your KNOCK is in check.
I just made a couple more minor tweaks, loaded it to the car, and after I get something in my stomach I'll git back at it, and go test it out.

My GLOBAL fuel scale is off , no matter how hard I try it just wont add any more fuel! The first pull looked great but once the adaptations started to kick in everything went to crap. I'm done for the night, time to start again tomorrow, it shuldnt take long, I'm really getting the hang of what to do.

I am going out to reload the tune before the last one I did. I changed the main fuel map so much in the last one that I would rather change the GLOBAL on the one with the least ammount of fuel added.
The engine is 100% cooled down so it might help some of the COLD START stuff at the same time.

Bummer about the bear infestation in your area. Bears can be a pain. Hopefully they'll wander off soon....
