gents, I have to call BS on "closed course" unless you can back it up a bit.

150 mph is 2.5 miles/minute - unless you are on a lake bed or outside the US I just can't recall any private facility that has that much room

almost all boasts are welcome here, but in my experience top speed isn't one of them

Read between the lines closed was for the mods

But then again I have drove my Mini Around Indy last summer

Top speed? For me it was 70mph on the highway

I don't like going fast on the road, I am more of a twisty road kind of guy. Anyone can go fast in a straight line, but handling lots of corners well seems to be more fun for me.
