A hammer on the end should do it for you. It just sits there...don't know what to recommend.

??? Which way you hitting it? Looks like all sorts of hammer marks on the CV cup, and no marks on the threaded shaft end.

Evasive - heat gun or torch?

Onasled - yeah, I was hitting the cup in a downward motion. I've hit the threaded shaft so many times it has already mushroomed a bit.

I'm thinking of putting it on a press on Monday to see if it will come out if no other method gets it out here at home.

Uh-Oh, ...if you have mushroomed the shaft then it may not pass through the bearing if you do get it loose.
I gaher the cup is to large a diamiter to fit throught the upright hole that the hub sets in if you unbolt and try and remove the hub? If it did then just pull the hub and toss the whole thing.

yeah i assumed that too when i saw it but it looks as though it doesnt interfere with the splines. yeah that whole assembly comes off, i had just put it on there but i dont wanna trash the bearing because its pretty expensive but i will if i have to.

With all the pounding with a hammer and the fact that it's even stuck in the first place, I might assume that those bearings are trash already. Don't go through all this work to find you have to do it again in a couple months. Just toss it all and get a new hub.
