MINI allows us to express our individuality with countless factory and aftermarket appearance upgrades. I'm wondering what people have done to dress up their Minis (exterior, interior, or engine)? Pictures would be great!!!

Mini Street Racer, do I see a Scion xB behind you? Is he/she "molesting" you?

yeah, guys with HM2's get a lot of action

Randy (MAXMINI)'s car

here are a few more Ideas

oh, and it's not a MINI but you get the concept

that paintscheme on your car. I'm sure Matt at Cooperflags(?)(does he still use cooperflags?) could do a side vinyl to this effect. if you want to go that drastic.

Oh.. thanks Clo. car does look sharp doesn't it.

Here are my subtle mods, a euro plate and side stripes. If you're driving a stock MINI, you're missing half the fun of owning one.

Motor On

First, choose a color not many people have. then everything
else is factory options. Choosing wheels that not many people
has is also a big differentiator on your look.

I have the following mods on my '04 MCS:

1) MINI OEM 3-slats chrome front grille and chrome lower bumper slat (Installed by dealer before delivery)

2) MINI OEM chrome mirror caps (Not the stick-on aftermarket chrome mirror caps fakes sold elsewhere)

3) Union Jack/Checkered Flag metal self-adhesive body badge installed in the hatch (Under the Cooper S badge)

4) Coming soon: Union Jack roof decal.

My only exterior mod has been a shorty antenna! Sure, I keep rolling ideas around in my head all the time, but nothing seems to fit and would, in fact, detract from the classic look of my MINI, which I do love. I have nothing against mods...seen some I like...seen some I don't, but occasionally I find my MINI stands out plenty just having 7-holes and no bonnet stripes!

New wheels is the most major thing I've done (the rondelles are magnetic and I only use them at shows and occasionally at races). Oh, and I have a shorty antenna and new Coops S logo floormats on the way. Everything other mod has been for performance, not dress up.

I personally think that a customized Whalen Shift Machine is the coolest thing you can do... totally 100% unique. You will have the only one like it in existance. If I could figure out how to photograph it, I would post a picture of mine... love it, Doug did an awesome job.

Well, not having rims will certainly be distinctive, you'd have th eonly MINI on blocks.

My only mods so far have been the Chrome Grille and Checkered Roof decals (installed by the dealer) and the Euro Parcel Shelf (installed by me) which is pretty handy for cell phones and sunglasses but I have to wonder how big "parcels" are in Europe.
