I've been wanting to do those exact stripes on my PW/B. They look great. I've also been on edge about blacking out the headlight rings because I thought it would stand out too much, but yours look great.

You painted the stripes on? PlastiDip? Won't it come off when you wash it?

I recently picked up a similar striping for my PW (the thin band is red for me). All black looks good too.

Looks good. You don't see the offset stripe a lot, but I like it.

Here's my recent before/after. Aero grill and moving/changing the plate bracket.

@hexon yea its plasti dip.. i did the rims in plasti-dip aswell. i took it to the car was 2 or 3 times but i usually hand wash my cars. the paint is real strudy, the only way to actually take it off is to get underneath it. then it'd peel off like stickers ^_^ i love tht paint.

Thanks! It is pretty popular but since I hadn't seen any others in town, I went for it. I really like the M7 grille a lot, and considered going that way, but couldn't justify the cost. $230 could buy me springs! However it's something to consider.

Hadn't thought about moving the plate.. not a bad idea though, I might try it out at some point and see how it looks

Evasive, that's a real night and day transformation, your car looks mean as hell. I really like that front splitter!

It's a custom made splitter. Thanks! Definitely one of my favorite exterior mods.

To OP: great but did you also repaint the hood scoop? Not worried of the paint melting? I think your mod made your mini go from very typical to slick. Might have kept the checkered mirrors tho.

Remember the 1st gen has an intercooler under the scoop and not a hot turbo like the 2nd gen. I plastidipped my scoop on my '09 It has held up just fine a quite a few months now. I also open up the grill on it with a dremel so it lets more heat out when sitting and more air in while driving so I imagine it helps a bunch.

Love love love the offsets! I had my offsets painted on, too. I love that it's a stripe option you don't see on many MINIS. . .makes mine stand out even in a crowd of other MINIS.
