R50/53 Stuck on a ship

Bloody west coast dock workers!
My car is on the Medea, due to dock in California 10/6. Thanks to the arguing between dock workers making $120k per year and their bosses, it's been sitting off the coast since then.
The Willhenus (sp?) site where you can track the ship as of friday 10/4 showed a 10/6 docking. Tuesday 10/8, it showed a docking date of 11/10 (over a month later) and today (wednesday 10/9), it shows the voyage as having ended in Georgia with the ship currently en route to Mazatlan, Mexico.
I called 866-ASK-MINI and they are looking into it, which should be easier "now we have a specific VIN to follow". The very nice lady I spoke to said that she had heard that they MAY be using Mexico to unload, then truck them back to the VPC in California for processing, but she didn't know for sure.
I just want my car, dammit!
