Painting my grill

just ordered the aero grill for my cooper, and im going to paint the grill surround white like this as far as a i know its a one piece grill (as in the grill surround and mesh are one pieve, if its not let me know) and ill have to tape it off, any recomendations as to what sort of paint i should use, krylon maybe? i dont want it to chip and i know vinyls usually the way to go but after wrapping my last grill, im not doing it again. any input is appreciated, thanks.

You're right, it is a once-piece grille. I haven't painted mine but Krylon seems to be a favorite for painting plastics around here. You could try the plasti-dip route as well. I know it comes in a few colors, white may be one of them.

That is one of my favorite R50s as well. rjtrout2000 has done a a really great job on it.

same, def one of my favorite r50's. i know they make white plastidip but id like a gloss finish, vinyl is good because as opposed to cracking and chipping, it actually bounces off pebbles and debris. its just a PIA to do. im wondering if i do a bunch of coats of krylon i can get a thick coating that resists wear and tear
