Just wondering how many mini owners have noticed nose prints on their windows? I had been told (or maybe seen on forums?) that I would see evidence of people peeping into the car etc....It is true! I've seen evidence on the windows at least two times....and I've only had my car around a week and a half!

 

I know what you mean! It happens to me, too! I have caught people doing it. The other week I was in a restaurant and I watched out the window as this little kid ran up to my car and was looking inside my Mini doing this weird little dance. It was REALLY bizarre. Kids are strange.

i've got a silver tint on the windows=lots of noseprints!!! :???:

 

I get nose, forehead, and hand prints all the time!

 

When my baby comes (it's in transport now YAY!), I'm going to get a box of those windex wipes for it. This way I can clean the smudges on the spot.

Smudges on glass (yucky, yucky) really bug me. :???:

 

Prints like crazy..Beware....I do keep a supply of window wipes in my "S" at all times. At first I didn't mind so much but it really is getting crazy, and I am a regular at the Auto Store.

 

Ya I didn't mind it either, til I came back to my car the other day and found a little chip/scrape above the driver's door handle. Obviously someone's zipper/button/something hit my car while they peered in the windows. I was able to buff out 98%...but that last 2% is killing me since I have to see it each time I go to open my door. Bastards!!!! Oh well, a itty bit of touch-up will fix it and no one will be the wiser.

Forget the nose prints, I was waiting in line for the outside restroom at a service station on the highway, and this guy was walking around my MINI looking at it. He then decided he wanted to see how sturdy it was and started pushing it back and forth. I couldn't believe it. When I finally got back in the car he came up and was talking to me about it and said "it seems nice and sturdy" as he starts knocking on the hood with his fist. I almost got out and knock him up side the head to see how sturdy he was. The real kicker was that he was standing next to a cop, who was also looking at it! The cop said nothing to him!

 

Nose prints every day. The first thing I do when I get home a night with my car is clean the side windows. I've thought of a sign but that would probably incourage some idiot to key my car.

my school has off campus lunches, so the first day i drove my mcs to school i was walking to my car with some friends to get some lunch (they were so excited to ride in my car!) as we walk up to the car some people start yelling my name say "IS THAT YOUR CAR!!!" i had about 20 people around my car, some were sitting inside it, checking out the sound system, looking under the hood. this one kid was leaning up against my car and i made him get off b/c i thought his belt would stratch the paint. when everyone was done checking out my car, me and my friends piled in......than i noticed millions and millions of hand prints ALL over the windows....it just made me sick! it was okay though, i work at car spa (car wash) and i get one free premium car wash a week. i had no problem with people checking out my car, but next time maybe i should set some rules...DO NOT TOUCH

 

I get them too, nose, fingers, whatever.
But it is nice that kids like the car.
