five years and 160,000 miles on my 06 cooper. the new car honeymoon isn't over!

 

My 03 r53 just reached 116k miles.Bought her a year ago with 110k miles and she has no mechanical problems (knock on wood)! All she has is a glazed flywheel that makes the chewbaca sound, but I just tell everyone it gives the car "personality" lol

 

Just brought her home today.

 

03 R53 with 78k and still running strong.

2006 Cooper just came to live with us.
Original owner said his two kids and their gear outgrew the rear seat or his wife would never have let it go.
Has 160,000 kilometers on it (100,000 miles) and drives like new.
Hope to put at least another 100 on it.

 

191620 as of this morning. Was hoping to get another 60k before doing any major rebuilding.

I turned over 106,000 last night on my '05. No major problems that I didn't cause. I love it like it's new.

 

My '02 Cooper S has 97,000kms on it (60,200 miles).
I'll be keeping it for the long haul.

 

Well, we've passed a couple more milestones:
I celebrated my 87th birthday a few days ago
My 2002 MINI now has 513,000 miles (still running like new)
My bride and I have been married 13 months (honeymoon is still great)
We love our new home

We've been blessed
