Funny that I have so many on my '07! So many of you have had your cars for years more than I have, yet I'm catching up with you. And remember, I don't commute--I work out of my house, and the MINI sits in my garage most days!
I'm over 93,000 now. Debating whether to order a new one when the new dealer opens in Little Rock. Do I want a 2014? I'm not excited about the pictures I've seen.

You must love your road trips then.
Maybe i'll wait til they hit dealerships to make a definitive statement but I don't think ive even consider a 2014. It's surprising that despite how well the auto industry has been doing the last few years, MINI and BMW seem to be driving the wrong way.

Going to turn 183 probably the next time I drive him. (Stanley is his name) He's in the shop for rear sunroof replacement and some bodywork thanks to highway speed road debris kicked up by a chevy in front of me changing lanes Stll original clutch but it's slipping a lot. Replacement parts are waiting to be put in when the hubby gets around to it

I think I will see what the new ones look like first. I ordered my R56 sight-unseen (dealer didn't even have a photo of the interior), but I haven't liked what I've seen so far in the photos. The front end--ugh! And the spy photos of the interior aren't inspiring. I get the feeling they brought back Chris Bangle and put him to work at MINI.

Window regulator, power steering pump, power steering fan, front axel (cause im low ), ac compressor (cause I got hit by a ups truck), super charger, couple windshields, few sets of brakes, oil, now and then, quite a few sets of tires.

Bought an 05/02 base R50 exactly a year and 20 days ago, came with 104k, up to 117,400 as of this afternoon. Haven't really been putting miles on it until I started college at the beginning of this summer. Replaced the steering pump a couple weeks into owning it, waiting on the reimbursement from HQ. A/C compressor keeled over on Tuesday, but thankfully winter's on the way.

Will hit 312,000 when I get home from this trip I'm on. Biggest repair was changing the original T/O bearing at 300,000. The clutch still had grooves on it! Original P/S pump still going but I've cleaned the brushes a few times. Wheel bearing, thermostat, brakes and rotors, crank pulley, broke a valve spring, fuel pump/filter, alternator, slave cyl, P/S fan, LCA bushings, plugs and Mobil 1 every 5K have kept her going. Best car for maintenance of the 20 I've owned.
