Replys like this give me hope! What did u have replaced through the years? One of the reasons I bought the car was the maintenance that had already been done @175,000k. Rebuilt top-end and Supercharger, new timing chain, new clutch, new slave cylinder, new power steering assembly, and full new Borla Exhaust with high flow cat and headers. Oh, and K&N CAI along with 15% pulley upgrade with tensioner............Hopefully this will help me hit 300k. ha ha

i don't think the list is too long:
Brakes (twice i think)
supercharger
window regulator
main pulley
oil pan gasket
valve cover gasket (my fault)
control arm bushings
a couple of windshields
tires (one to two times a year)
coolant tank
battery
spark plugs (every year)
belt (every year)
oil (every 15-20k when indicators says to change)
thats all i can remember right now.

That is awesome
I have 116k on my 04 S with many many track sessions thrown in.
Never have touched the motor yet other than regular maintenance and perfromance upgrades.

178K Miles of Smiles
My '04S that I have owned since March '07 is running very well at 178,000 miles. Did the clutch with a Valeo unit at 113,000 and brakes a time or two but really nothing major. Still running the original supercharger with a 15% Alta V2 pulley. New FSD's last year and front ball joints keep her handling like on rails with Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Planning on going all the way with MTTS nest year so hope to see a BUNCH of fun Minis do the whole coast to coast run.

2005 R50 with 121,500 on her.
Just debating on going with a 3rd clutch.
(Second clutch back in '08 just under the warranty wire.)
This was about 10k back...

Just turned 60k. Missed getting the exact moment because I was paying attention the road. Just have her the major service. Only things left are the pan gasket, crank sensor seal, and the fan relay fix. Still been a good car these past 9 years and she's not going anywhere so I just as might keep up on the little qurks

Just Checking In at 549,000 Miles . . .
to say that my 2002 MC is still purring beautifully after the hardest winter it has ever experienced. (At 88, I've seen a few winters that might have been worse - but, a memory that old can't remember when).
As I mentioned back in October 2013, I did experience some erratic heater-temperature indicator-auxiliary fan behavior. International MINI of Milwaukee did find compression to be lower in one cylinder, and recommended a valve job sometime in the future. But, even though it was a darn cold ride when temperatures were as low as 16 Below, I could not understand how a 'valve job' would make the heater blow heat on my feet! So, I hesitated - and spent my money for Christmas gifts instead.
Well, - procrastination has apparently paid off again - and without taking any other meaningful action - everything has been working perfectly for over 2000 miles. It appears that all those funny 'unrelated' symptoms occured while the coolant reservoir level was inexplicably way above the "MAX" level; - it may have been somehow 'overfilled' the last time my Dealer did an oil change. I can't explain it - but, the Coolant Level is now within the proper range - the car is still running like a new one - and my feet are happy again. I'm keeping it!

You guys are an inspiration! I was having a spot of troubles and we replaced the radiator (2nd time :() found a leak somewhere else, notice technical term as I'm not the mechanic) and replaced a few hoses. no problems since. I am having an idle problem but nothing I can't live with at least till it's warmer to have the hubby look at it. i should roll over the 200,000 mark in a week or two! it did stumble and felt and sounded like it was only running on 3 cylinders last week at highway speed. I pulled over and turned it off then back on again and he was fine.
