Great info CooperSAZ. Thanks for sharing.
I would add changing out the transmission fluid at 100,000 miles.

So I took the approach, if I am “going in”, I am going in once and what can I replace while I am “in there”?

90,000 miles on my 2010 Camden R56. Dust free Akebono brake pads have been a delight. Replaced thermostat at around 70,000; replaced spark plugs at 50,000; oil changed using MINI oil every 5,000. Michelin Pilot Super Ports grip like on rails. Put a rear bumper/loading area protector on a few days ago (from Mini Mania) and it looks like a factory item, very nice. Stainless steel mesh grills look fine and offer protection from rocks, etc. Got them from Zumsport in England for about $200. Easy install doesn't harm any original materials.
