Valeo Clutch Install, which direction?

If you look at the clutch, there's the flat side and a raised side with the "nose". Clutch is labeled "gearbox side" on the raised side but I've read that clutches are almost always labeled wrong. Anyone know if the raised side faces the pressure plate or the flywheel?

I have not heard of Valeo marking theirs incorrectly. Contact waymotorworks.com. Way should be able to tell you.

I'm pretty certain the "nose" or spring pack (if it's a dampened disk) goes towards the gearbox. The reason is that it will interfere with the throwout bearing / pressure plate if it's the other way. Bentley just says to observe the marking. I did, and was fine.

Yes the nose part goes toward the gearbox as it is labeled.

WMW do you sell the guide tube for the Valeo kit? Also do you know the part numbers of the bushings and slave cyl you recommend to replace while in there? Thx!

As for the bushings I wouldn't bother with them unless they are worn out, they don't just pop out, they are a pain to replace.
