Just picked up a Duralast Gold ($145 before tax) and it started right up. So the old one was definitely bad. Now the question why i still couldn't jump it in the normal way (which seems to work for other cars)?
When my battery died, I couldn't jump start it attached to another vehicle.. The one thing that worked was using those mobility jump start kits. Worked every time.
With mine, the only mobility jump kit that worked was two human legs to push the
car to speed, followed by dropping the clutch with the ignition switch on. It started
then within several seconds.

I had the first battery replaced 6 months after I bought the car. Then Friday night couldn't start it and all the electrical items went crazy. Though I couldn't shut the doors, since the windows wouldn't roll down. I called roadside assistance they jumped it. Drov it to the dealer and waiting to hear on Monday. I have need had a car go through batteries like this. Not happy.
Hello- same happened to me. No dealer in AR- towed my baby to OK, for them to tell me I left a map light switch on, it drained the battery, and it's costing me a cool $275. WTF? I've NEVER used the map light- it was daylight when I left the house, no reason for the freakin' map light to be on. I am outraged, with no recourse as my car is held hostage in OK til I cough up $275.
