Rubber shift boot!!
So I was on the market for a new shift boot because mine was developing some rips. I've seen people do the Audi TT or Hyundai Tibby rubber accordian shift boot mod and thought it looked awesome, but I've struggled to find one of those shift boots for sale/for a reasonable price, so I did some serious searching of my own and found this part:
Its some kind of shift boot dust protector for mid-80's BMWs (keepin it in the family ) I dont know how I found it but I did, 2-day shipped it, and it fit almost perfectly... Until I cut about 1/4" off the edges, then it fit perfectly!
It doesn't pop out from between the trim when you shift either which I was worried about. I also have a B&M short shifter in the mail right now, which should add to the look even more.
Let me know what you think! I think it's a relatively cheap solution (only a little more than a replacement OEM leather shift boot and even easier to install) and an awesome look.

built it myself using COOP310's DIY writeup:

DEFINITELY worth the time and effort.

I've also decided to flip the boot upside down so the accordian part goes down into the shift well and more of the shifter is exposed.
